WILSON x DIGIWAY / WILSON LEGENDARY SPACE 致胜之境

In 2022 Digiway collaborated with Wilson Sporting Goods in China to create a special basketball art collection titled Wilson Legendary Space. The project celebrates iconic moments from the history of sport through Digiway’s distinctive visual storytelling style.
Drawing inspiration from elements of The Chao Dynasty universe, Digiway developed a new visual language specifically for Wilson. Historical sports moments were reinterpreted through stylized illustrations and integrated directly into the surface of the basketballs.
The collection consists of five different basketball designs across several editions.
The centerpiece of the project is the Legendary Space Epic Basketball Set titled 致胜之境系列 · 史诗款篮球套装.
Only ten sets were produced worldwide. Each set includes a limited edition basketball, a collectible scroll artwork and a presentation case. The scroll features a panoramic artwork inspired by Digiway’s narrative compositions.
For this edition Digiway illustrated six legendary sports stories that appear both on the basketball and as individual artworks.
The six moments include:
Tom Brady, often regarded as the greatest quarterback in NFL history
Michael Jordan’s iconic buzzer beater during the NCAA Finals while playing for Georgetown
The famous volleyball companion from the film Cast Away starring Tom Hanks
Trae Young’s “Ice Trae” moment at Madison Square GardenWilt Chamberlain’s legendary 100 point game
A cross generation tennis moment featuring Serena and Venus Williams together with Roger Federer and Billie Jean King
Each story was translated into a graphic narrative scene, turning the basketball into a rotating canvas of sports mythology.
Alongside the Epic edition several other designs were released as part of the Wilson Fusion Series.
Fusion Limited Edition
A collector edition limited to 100 pieces. Each set includes a basketball, presentation box and framed artwork derived from the illustrated scenes.
Reaction / Legend / Spotlight
These three designs were released as general editions and feature graphic identities developed specifically for the project.
For the collection Digiway also created a complete typographic and graphic system including the Fusion, Reaction, Legend and Spotlight identities. The visual language combines angular lettering, sports energy and Asian graphic influences.
The Wilson Legendary Space project demonstrates Digiway’s approach to storytelling through design, where product, narrative and illustration merge into a single collectible object.
